Definitely not my first choice. OK for a novice at home.The plates don’t completely lay flat to each other. The temperature of the heat is OK. It does heat up fast, but it doesn’t smooth the hair out as much as you would have expected.

This straightener does a great job straightening and curling hair. It's very straightforward to operate, and it doesn't have really have any extra features beyond temperature selection. There isn't an indicator of when the straightener is at temperature. There are five temperatures to choose from: 300°F, 340°F, 380°F, 410°F, and 450°F. The temperature does not lock (even though the user manual says it does) and it can be changed at any point. Thankfully the buttons are on the side of the straightener so it's hard to accidentally press them. This straightener is not digital. All of the buttons are physical and the temperatures are printed on the front. The straightener is surprisingly lightweight, which makes it very easy to maneuver and use. I am concerned by how warm the sides of the straightener can get - make sure you rest it on heat safe surfaces. The heating plates are 1"x4.75" in size. Overall I love how beautifully it styles hair but I'm concerned about the hot sides and that the straightener doesn't match the features listed in the user manual.

This is a review of “Bellezza SleekBeauty 1” Digital Flat Iron - Ultra-Slim Design - Precise LED Heat Settings to 450°F - Ceramic Plates - Hair Straightener (Blush Pink).”This flat iron is a beautiful pink color! It doesn’t snag my hair like some other irons I’ve had. I wanted to love it, but it has a major problem with the location of the buttons. The buttons are on the side of the unit, right where you hold on. They are easy to push and consequently, I’m always hitting them. When I am flattening, I don’t hit the buttons as much. However, when I am curling and twisting the iron, I hit the buttons constantly. I accidentally turn the temperature off or turn it up. It’s so bad that I have to readjust the temperature or on/off status between every single curl.I pulled out the instructions and the unit is supposed to have a temperature “lock” that turns on after five seconds. The instructions show specific processes to lock and unlock so that you can’t accidentally move the temperature or turn the unit off. I followed those instructions exactly, but never saw a lock light. I even grabbed a flashlight to look at the interior leds and I could not see anything that might be a lock light in the bottom corners. I tried rereading the instructions, thinking I had misunderstood something, but nothing worked. I really don’t think this straightener has this much-needed lock function (or it simply doesn’t work).Just to be clear, the unit does have a lock for keeping the plates together when you’re not using it - which is great. The temperature lock that is described in the instructions is a separate feature that isn’t working (or maybe even available) on my iron. You might be successful with this straightener if you only intend to straighten your hair. I wouldn’t choose this iron if you plan to curl your hair.

I may have a straightener collecting problem but I can't help it, I feel like they all serve different purposes. I really wanted this one because it's so much longer and skinnier than any others that I have. The hot plate goes right to the edge so you don't lose any distance between where you clamp your hair and where it begins to straighten. I have a wet 2 dry straightener that I love but I can't get the baby hairs as easily with it as I can get with this new flat iron.I was able to get the front of my head straightened easier with this iron than my fatter other ones that are more than an inch. It left my hair smooth and shiny.There's a lock at the bottom of the handle which keeps the blades locked flat together when engaged, instead of them being separated like you usually see straighteners in that partially open shape unless u wrapped the cord around to tighten.There's no temperature dial, you click through to preset temperatures. It heated quickly.I have very thick and veryong hair so I don't know that I would use this in my entire head as that may take a while but it's a great supplemental straightener for getting those front pieces how I want. Women with unruly (not straight) hair know that sometimes if you just clean up or straighten the hairs around you face you look so much more put together.

This hair straightener works pretty good! It heats up quick and is easy to use. I like that it has a slim design and gets really close to to your scalp. Left my hair very smooth and straight.

Easy to use, heats up quickly and can get close to the scalp. There is a dial of preset temperatures and it heats up super fast. Great size for travel. Auto shut off would be a nice addition. Can be used to add curl and bounce or to straighten. Overall, works really well and is a great addition to your hair regimen.

The product is sleek and stylish. It comes in a box that makes it super easy and convenient to store after use. I use it for straightening my hair and it lasts for around 2-3 days. Even after that, my hair doesn't return to normal completely but instead loosens slightly into soft curls. It has two buttons to control the temperature, allowing you to increase or decrease it, and a clip to keep the straightening plates closed or apart. This feature is particularly useful as it prevents the plates from coming into contact with other items when not in use.

This flat iron works well but I, too, accidentally change heat settings a million times while trying to use it. It is a big long for me - my hair is only just past chin length - BUT my kid has long thick hair and she's using it brilliantly. That could also just be my ineptitude since I grew up in the age of curling irons and my flat iron isn't that long.It definitely looks and feels well made so if we could figure out how to lock it onto heat setting, it would be 5*.

Love this flat iron for my chin-length bob haircut! The iron heats up quickly and my hair slides nicely through it to create smooth curls or to flatten out and smooth unruly areas. So far, I've only used a low heat setting and it does a great job of curling or straightening, so I feel like it's not so hard on my color-treated hair. I do wish that it had auto shut-off after a period of non-use. I haven't forgotten to unplug it yet, but it would be nice not to worry about it!

I have some flat irons that do not have different heat settings & I stopped using them because they can ruin your hair. This one heats pretty fast & it seems to maintain the heat setting. It has a nice sleek design which makes it easy to hold & use.

This is a fast, hot flatiron that is easy to use and gets the job done. It has a small surface area I1") and is lightweight so it's great for travel and touchups. The cord is long enough, it's on a swivel so the thing doesn't kink up, and the digital display and 5 temperature range is nice. I love it!

This is really sturdy and feels quality. The cord is nice and thick/strong so it doesn't get all stuck or kinked. The plates are smooth and the straightener gets very hot, so it straightens hair well. It's super easy and simple to use with straightforward lock and controls. The design feels sleek and comes in nice packaging. It is on par with the value I would expect for the pricing.

This flat iron is a real beauty! The blush pink color is so pretty and the 1" width is perfect for both straightening and creating loose curls. I love the LCD screen that clearly displays the temperature settings, and the lock feature is a great safety addition to prevent accidental burns. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I've found that the plates sometimes snag my hair, which can be a bit frustrating.

I really like the design of this iron, it looks elegant and minimalistic. It’s lightweight and I feel it comfortable to hold and handle. It has 5 different temperature settings, going from 300 to 450 degrees, I use lower two. The cord is rotating so it’s very easy to maneuver hassle free (no messy cables). I used it on dry hair sprayed with heat protection and my hair came out looking shiny and sleek. It’s good for straightening your hair. I tried to make loose curls but I didn’t find it comfortable for that so I’ll stick to use it for straightening my hair and for that purpose it works great. The only con I’d mention (and it’s not really con because size is stated clearly) is that the iron is kinda small so it does take some time to straighten all my hair (my hair is very long and wavy). But, on the positive note, the smaller size makes it easy to pack and carry around so it’s traveling friendly.

I have thick, high porosity, 3A-3B hair which is color treated, and it still worked like a charm. The only thing is that it cramps my hand more than my old straightener for some reason, but works so much better. Worth the price
