Start with clean, completely dry, detangled hair.
Apply heat protectant before styling.
Plug in the flat iron and turn it on.
Select the right temperature for your hair type and styling goal.
Divide hair into small, manageable sections.
For straight styles, clamp a section near the roots and glide smoothly down to the ends.
For curls, waves, or flips, wrap or rotate the hair around the plates and glide downward slowly.
Repeat section by section until your desired style is complete.
Let hair cool before brushing through or applying finishing product.
Turn off and unplug after use. Allow the tool to cool completely before storing.
